Indicative/Selected Partners and Stakeholders

The Founder

Dr. Radia SIA

President and Lead Scientist / Principal Inverstigator (PI)

Dr. SIA obtained her Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Nuclear Measurement and Experimental Physics from Syracuse University in New York USA. She has a strong expertise in innovative technologies and their corresponding funding mechanisms at the interface of public research, academia, industry, stakeholders and decision makers. She acts as an Expert of the European Commission and is regularly sollicited to provide expert advice and support to global and local renowned organizations and firms.

Radia held various positions in the US and Europe within world-class institutions and collaborations that are at the leading edge in their fields such as: Syracuse Univesity (New York USA) in collaboration with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN in Geneva Switzerland), Fermi National Laboratory (Chicago IL) and Cornell University (Ithaca NY); Radiation Monitoring Devices (RMD) Inc., member of Dynasil Corp. of America, a national leader of the US-government funded Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programme and a global leader of radiation detection materials and technologies; and ORANO, a global player in nuclear energy solutions.

She managed and developed projects for NASA, the US-DHS (Department of Homeland Security), DoD (Department of Defense), DTRA (Defense Threat Reduction Agency), DOE (Department of Energy), NSF (National Science Foundation), the US-NIH (National Institute of Health), and the European Commission.

Radia has a strong expertise, and more than two decades of experience, in radiation measurement instrumentation techniques, technologies, applications, markets and funding mechanisms. She is the principal author of over 30 peer-reviewed articles and a co-author of more than 170 articles. She has been an invited speaker at several prestigious conferences and workshops worldwide.

Her current focus is value creation through technology and services development in order to address concrete economic and societal challenges as well as promoting women leadership.
